Last year I was very happy to see that Carlos Fuentes was giving a chat in the Edinburgh Book Festival. I bought my ticket in advance only to hear that Fuentes had cancelled because of health reasons. This year I looked again at the program and noted that Carlos Fuentes was scheduled to give a talk, I booked my ticket on the very day they came out on sale. Yesterday I got a phone call from the Festival organizers, they had to cancell the lecture because apparently he's very ill again!!!! Big dissapointment. I had already planned to take the day off from work, so, I'll probably golf until my hands bleed :)
